always seems that just as things are going good...just as life takes a turn for the best...everything goes wrong....gets lost, confused, and messed up...and then you crash....and just have to sit there because you don't have the strength to get up

teenage years, big dreams, stupid fights, sleepy days, endless nights, broken hearts, mascara tears, cell phone bills, report card fears, clothes too tight, shows so high, out past curfew, another lie, eyeshadow color, midnight black, lip gloss flavor, cherry attack, belts with stars, boys with cars,.. Remember when friends didn’t lie to you, and the worst thing anyone EVER called you was a meanie; remember when you were judged on how nice you were; and how you only wanted to hear i love you from your mom? Well now.. friends barely tell you the truth and girls will call you tons of things that will make you want to break down and cry; now you’re judged on how expensive your clothes are and you’d give up every single time your mom ever told you how she loved you; just to hear him say it just one more time..

And all that surrounds her are secrets and lies

God gives you one life so make the most of it, be the one who laughs the hardest, the one who doesn't care what other people think, the one who knows she's beautiful inside and out. The one who has dreams, and knows no one is going to tell her what she can and can't do, but best of all, the one who believes in herself, only because believing in yourself is everything. And really, if you don't have confidence, what do you have?

Boys will break your heart, friends will betray you, parents will seem too strict, and life might annoy you, but you should always remember that there's a purpose for these things to happen to us. So keep your head up and your spirits high because if you don't, life will just pass you by.
